Crescendo - Becca Fitzpatrick

As I wrote before, this is the second book of the saga ‘Hush Hush’, written by the New Yorker Becca Fitzpatrick the following year, in 2010.
This book is the continuation of Nora’s life and it relates how Nora and Patch’s relationship starts to destroy as he starts to have a “fascination” (according to Nora’s point of view) with her enemy, Marcie Millar. Patch starts to leave Nora apart and as she is jealous, she starts to hang out with her Nefilim friend, Scott. Things start to go from bad to worse when Nora fires Patch as her guardian angel, Patch and Scott start to get into fights, Rixon (Patch’s friend) tells Nora that Patch is Black Hand, she finds out that her mother has been hooking up with Marcie’s father, and then Patch tells her that he is now Marcie’s guardian angel. However, Nora finally finds out that Rixon has been the one who has caused her all of these problems and that he has killed her father. Then Patch sends him to hell, Scott escapes and Nora and Patch are back together. However, the book ends up with Nora being accused of killing Chauncey.

As well as the other book, this is a very interesting book, but I did not like it that much by the fact that is very stressful as everything goes wrong for Nora and Patch is totally behaving stupidly. Yet I still recommend reading it if you want to continue with the whole saga as it is a very important part of the whole story.
